Love the Hove(r)

Have you heard of threadless.com‘s sister site, TypeTees?  Nor had I, until today when dooce featured this hilarious shirt in her recommended gifts post.

The site is full of hilarious and creative tees, but the most creative aspect I noticed wasn’t a shirt at all.

Check out the hover state they use when you mouse over a tee.  As if it was unfolded, the t-shirt expands over the page until you mouse off.  So cute, so simple — exactly the element of delight that plays up the overall brand of the site.  I love it!

Sad! It looks like this site no longer exists. :( That’s a shame. This post was from about 2 years ago.

Helpful Post but couldn’t get the Tshirt Hover effect to work. Any suggestions?
